On April 13, 2020, the Agency onr Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan hosted an expanded meeting of the collegium “On the results of activities of state statistics bodies of the Republic of Tajikistan for the first quarter of 2020 and further tasks for 2020” with the participation of the main statistics departments of the regions, Dushanbe, statistical offices areas of republican subordination, administrations and departments of the Central Office and the State Institution of the "Main Computing Center" of the Agency, as well as with the participation of the chairman Khodzhazoda Orif Ashuri, Committee on Land Management and Geodesy, and Karimzod Sadi Kaffor, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture.
The meeting was opened by the Director of the Agency onr Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Hasanzoda Gulnora Kenja, who noted that for the statistical authorities the first quarter of 2020 was fruitful.
First Deputy Director of the Agency onr Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Shokirzoda Sh. presented a detailed report on the main directions of work of statistical agencies for the first quarter of 2020. It was noted that the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, according to the Statistical Work Program, which was approved by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated November 27, 2019 No. 566, completed all the tasks for the first quarter of 2020 and a total of 2766 statistical works were performed.
During the first quarter of 2020, were received 681 decrees, instructions and minutes of meetings of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, 24 laws and decrees of the Majlisi Milli and Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, 322 letters from ministries and departments, 52 letters from local statistical bodies, 101 letters by E-Government and e-mail the agency and 33 citizen appeals to which timely replies were submitted, according to their requests.
For the first quarter of 2020, in accordance with the program of statistical work, 7 statistical collections, 57 bulletins, 6 information, 11 express information and 33 analytical reports were prepared.
The panel heard reports from local statistical authorities. The Agency's management, in order to improve the quality and effectiveness of the activity, provided useful suggestions and directions.
During the meeting, proposals for close cooperation were also heard from the chairman of the State Committee for Land Management and Geodesy, Khojazod Orif Ashuri.
The Director of the Agency onr Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Hasanzod Gulnor Kenjf, gave specific instructions and recommendations on the timely implementation of the Statistical Work Program for 2020 and instructions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
In order to implement the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated September 30, 2019, No. 1356 of the Decrees of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan "On the census of the population and housing of the Republic of Tajikistan in 2020" from October 1 to 15, a census of the population and housing of the Republic of Tajikistan will be conducted. Preparatory work in this area began in 2015 according to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated October 12, 2015, No. 572; Decisions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the preparation and conduct of the census of the population and housing of the Republic of Tajikistan in 2020”.
