On January 9, 2020, the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan held an expanded meeting of the collegiums "On the results of the activities of the statistical bodies of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2019 and the tasks for 2020" with the participation of representatives of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, ministries: economic development and trade, labor , migration and employment, agriculture, energy and water; committees: local development, tax, environmental protection, tourism development, the Customs Service and the heads of departments and divisions of the central office, the Main Computing Center, the Agency’s main statistics departments in GBAO, regions and Dushanbe, the departments, statistical departments of the cities and regions republican subordination.
The meeting was opened with an opening address by the Director of the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Ms. Hasanzoda G.K. and it was noted that the statistical authorities, being guided by the Message of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, orders, instructions of the Head of State and Decrees of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on statistics, fruitfully carried out their activities in 2019.
The results of the activities of the state statistics bodies of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2019 and the tasks for 2020 were presented by the First Deputy Director of the Agency for Statistics Shokirzoda Sh. Sh. In particular, it was noted that the statistical work program for 2019 was completed. During this time, 9.4 thousand statistical papers were submitted. In accordance with the program of statistical work, 42statistical collections, 235 bulletins, 132 information, 36 express information and 67 analytical reports were prepared.
Was received 3,256 documents, 821 laws and decrees, instructions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, 1,638 letters from ministries and departments, 293 letters from local statistics agencies, 458 letters by e-mail, 46 appeal from citizens on which were presented in a timely manner responses
The collegiums heard reports from statistical authorities for 2019 and further tasks at the republican, regional level and the city of Dushanbe.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to such issues as: implementation of the Action Plan for the improvement of statistical reports for the period 2016-2021; on agricultural production; on conducting a census of the population and housing fund, and others.
Representatives of ministries and departments expressed their opinion on various points of statements and gave a good assessment to the workers in the field of statistics.
At the end of the meeting, taking into account the consideration of issues on the agenda and the speeches of the heads of local statistics agencies, the Director of the Statistics Agency Gulnora Hasanzoda noted that, by a resolution of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan No. 585 dated November 27, 2019, the National Strategy for the Development of Statistics of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period until 2030 was adopted of the year ”and“ Plan of measures for the implementation of the first stage of the National Strategy for the Development of Statistics of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2019-2023”, where the statistical authorities were delivered new tasks for its implementation, gave specific instructions and the board made appropriate decisions.
