On July 30, 2021, a press conference with representatives of the media was held at the Agency on statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The press conference was attended by representatives of NIAT "Khovar", agencies: "Sputnik Russia", "Avesto", "Asia Plus", television channels and radio stations: "Safina", "Khovar", "Radioi Tojikiston", "Sadoi Dushanbe", “Ovozi tokik”, magazines and newspapers: “Chumkuriyat”, “Sadoi Mardum”, “Narodnaya Gazeta”, “Javononi Tojikiston”, “Minbari Khalk”, “Bochu Hiroch”, “Khalk Ovozi”, “Payk”, website " Radiotoj ".
Before the press conference, journalists were provided with press releases on the socio-economic situation of the Republic of Tajikistan (in Tajik and Russian) and on the activities of the state statistics bodies of the Republic of Tajikistan in the first half of 2021. The press conference was opened by the Director of the Statistics Agency, Ms. Hasanzoda Gulnora, who presented the results of the activities of the statistics bodies for the first half of 2021 and further tasks for 2021.
Then the Director of the Agency, Deputy Directors of the Agency, heads of branch departments and divisions of the central office of the Agency on Statistics answered the questions of the journalists.
Basically, the journalists questions were on the following topics: - provision of statistical data in the field of agriculture;
- mortality in the first half of the year, including from lung diseases; - export and import to the Republic of Tajikistan;
- prices for food products;
- the number of internal and external migrants;
- statistics of deaths, births and divorces of families, etc.
- information on mortality, fertility, marriages and divorces, etc.
The representatives of the media were satisfied with the answers to their questions.
