On February 14, 2023 a press conference with representatives of the media was held at the Agency on statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Before the press conference, journalists were provided with press releases on the socio-economic situation of the Republic of Tajikistan (in Tajik and Russian) and on the activities of the state statistics bodies of the Republic of Tajikistan in the 2022.
The press conference was opened by the Director of the Statistics Agency, Mr. Nurmahmadzoda Jamshed, who presented the results of the activities of the statistics bodies for the 2022 and further tasks for 2023.
Then the Director of the Agency answered the questions of the journalists.
Basically, the journalist’s questions were on the following topics:
- the number of unemployed in Tajikistan;
- on foreign trade turnover;
- results of the population and housing census;
- natural population growth;
- volume of export from the Republic of Tajikistan;
- the number of centenarians over 100 years old, etc.
The representatives of the media were satisfied with the answers to their questions.
