On October 12, 2021, an expanded meeting of the Board of the Agency on Statistics "On the results of the work of statistical bodies of the Republic of Tajikistan for 9 months of 2021 and tasks until the end of 2021" was held at the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan with the participation of representatives of the ministries: economic development and trade, labor , agriculture, tax committee and heads of departments and departments of the central office, the Main Computing Center, the main departments of statistics of the Agency in GBAO, regions and Dushanbe, departments, departments and sectors of statistics of cities and districts of republican subordination.
The meeting was opened with an introductory speech by the Director of the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mrs. G. Hasanzoda and it was noted that the Agency has been fruitfully carrying out its activities for 9 months of 2021.
Then the Deputy Director of the Agency on Statistics Davlatzoda Kiyomiddin made a detailed report on the results of the activities of the state statistics bodies for the nine months of 2021.
In total, 7596 statistical works were carried out.
In addition, 13 sample statistical surveys were carried out on a regular basis, covering private sector statistics in industry, agriculture, transport, trade, services, prices and household budgets. Within the framework of the Program for 2021, it was planned to release an annual statistical collection "Statistical Yearbook of the Republic of Tajikistan" for 30 years of state independence, which was published and made available to users on the occasion of Independence Day.
As part of the implementation of the Statistical Work Program for 2021, 7 reporting forms were transferred to the electronic method for nine months of the year, and since 2016 42 reporting forms have been introduced in electronic form. At the same time, an electronic version of the survey of households in the field of agriculture was developed and tested in the farms of the Rudaki district.
According to the preliminary results of the population and housing census, the population of the Republic of Tajikistan as of October 1, 2020 amounted to 9661.6 thousand people. The population of the republic in comparison with the census of the population and housing stock in 2010 increased by 2,097.1 thousand people or by 27.7%, and compared to January 1, 2020 increased by 347.8 thousand people or 3.7 %.
In continuation of the meeting, reports were heard from the heads of a number of statistical bodies in regions, cities and districts of republican subordination and from the side of the agency's leadership, instructions were given on the timely elimination of deficiencies.
At the end of the meeting, the Director of the Statistics Agency, Ms. Hasanzoda Gulnora Kenja, gave specific recommendations and instructions to the heads of statistics bodies in regions, cities and districts of republican subordination on the transparency of statistical data, especially information on agriculture, preparation for winter and compliance with sanitation rules to prevent infectious diseases. as well as every week of disinfection work in the premises of the Agency for Statistics and in the regions.
