The Statistical Yearbook is the most comprehensive statistical publication of the Statistical Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, reflecting phenomena and processes that occur in economic and social life of the country during transition period.
The statistical book provides the main socio-economic data for the 2011-2017 years and includes information on population, demographic situation, health care, education, science and culture.
A special attention is paid to the indicators describing the various sectors of economy, such as industry, construction, agriculture, transport, and services. One of the Yearbook s sections contains a general characteristic of the enterprises and entities, data on small business and privatization. The information on external economic activity of the republic is also presented.
