In April 12, 2019, the extended meeting of the «On the results of the activities of the state statistics bodies of the Republic of Tajikistan for the first quarter of 2019 and further tasks for 2019» was held at the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan with the participation of the main departments of statistics of the regions, the city of Dushanbe, and departments of statistics Districts of Republican Subordination, departments and divisions of the Central Office and Main Computing Center of the Agency, as well as with the participation of a representative of Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, representatives of the Ministries of Finance, Agriculture, Energy and Water Resources, Industry and New Technologies, Education and Science, representatives of the State Committee on Land Management and Geodesy and Tax Committee.
The meeting was opened by the Director of the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Hasanzoda Gulnora Kenja, which noted that the first quarter of 2019 was fruitful for statistical bodies.
The First Deputy Director of the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Shokirzoda Sh., Presented a detailed report on the main areas of work of the statistical bodies in the first quarter of 2019. It was noted that the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, according to the Statistical Work Program, which was approved by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on November 30, 2018 No. 561, fulfilled all the tasks for the first quarter of 2019. In total, 2747 statistical works were performed, according to this Program, which indicates the complete implementation of the tasks.
During the first quarter of 2019 was received 144 resolutions, instructions and minutes of meetings of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, 24 laws and resolutions of the Majlisi Milli and Majlisi Namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, 431 letters from ministries and departments, 80 letters from local statistical bodies, 74 emails were received from Government and e-mail agencies and 17 appeals of citizens, which were provided timely responses, according to their requests.
In the first quarter of this year, in accordance with paragraph 8 of the action plan of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chairman of the National Development Council of the Republic of Tajikistan, honored Emomali Rakhmon, the first stage of the process of nationalization of indicators of the Sustainable Development Goals was completed.
In order to implement the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan "On the preparation and conduct of the census of the population and housing of the Republic of Tajikistan in 2020", as well as the Decrees of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan "On additional measures for the census of the population and housing of the Republic of Tajikistan in 2020", "On State Commission for Assistance in the Census of the Population ”, it was noted that implementation was entrusted to the relevant state structures, including the executive bodies of state power.
The panel heard reports from local statistical agencies. Agency management, in order to improve the quality and effectiveness of activities, provided useful suggestions and directions.
During the meeting, proposals for improving state statistics were also heard from a representative of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and representatives of ministries and departments.
The Director of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Hasanzoda Gulnora Kenja, gave specific instructions and recommendations for the timely implementation of the Statistical Work Program for 2019 and instructions from the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
