On April 16, 2021, an expanded meeting of the board "On the results of the activities of the state statistics bodies of the Republic of Tajikistan for the first quarter of 2021 and further tasks for 2021" was held at the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan with the participation of representatives of the ministries: economic development and trade, agriculture, energy and water resources, industry and new technologies, education and science, transport, labor, migration and employment of the population, representatives from the state committee on land management and geodesy, main departments of statistics of regions, Dushanbe, departments of statistics of regions of republican subordination, departments and departments Of the Central Office and the State Institution "Main Computing Center" of the Agency for Statistics.
The meeting was opened by the Director of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Hasanzoda Gulnora Kenja, and noted that the following issues will be considered at the board:
- On the results of the activities of the state statistics bodies of the Republic of Tajikistan for the first quarter of 2021 and further tasks for 2021 ";
- On the process of developing an electronic list of households to create a centralized sampling system for agricultural surveys;
- On the implementation of the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan "On the provision of municipal and rural self-government bodies with household books" dated May 31, 2018 No. 291 and the transition to electronic household books.

It was noted that the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, according to the Program of Statistical Work, which was approved by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated December 31, 2020 No. 705, completed all the tasks for the first quarter of 2021. A total of 2894 statistical works were carried out.
At the end of the first quarter of 2021, 129 orders, resolutions, orders, copies of minutes of meetings of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, plans and events were received, as well as 1 resolution of the Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Majlisi Namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, 306 letters from ministries and departments, 73 letters from local statistical bodies, 141 letters received through e-government and e-mail of the Agency, 26 draft resolutions and 45 written applications from citizens, which were processed, promptly implemented and responded to inquiries. Also, 942 monthly reports on the socio-economic situation of the country, sectoral statistical compilations and bulletins were prepared and were sent to the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, ministries and departments and other users of statistical data.

Then, during the meeting, the reports of the heads of local statistical bodies were heard and the Agency's management gave useful instructions and recommendations for further improving the level and quality of statistical activities.
