Today, December 14, Director of the Agency for Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Nurmahmadzoda Jamshed met with the head of the Malaysian government's statistical department, Dr. Mohd Uzir Mahidin .
This meeting took place on the sidelines of the 19th meeting of the Governing Council of the United Nations Statistical Institute for Asia and the Pacific, which is being held in Kuala Lumpur, Republic of Malaysia.
At the meeting, issues of the beginning of bilateral cooperation between the statistical authorities of the Republic of Tajikistan and the statistical authorities of the Government of Malaysia, exchange of experience in collecting, analyzing and disseminating statistical data, training of specialists at the Malaysian Training Statistical Center and other useful issues were discussed.
The parties came to the conclusion that, in accordance with the established procedures for formalizing cooperation, they would sign a memorandum of bilateral cooperation.
It should be noted that as part of this trip, a meeting is planned between the Director of the Agency for Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the heads of statistical agencies of other countries and representatives of international organizations.
